This oil painting is from a photograph I took last winter in my backyard.
My studio is built in a wooded-area behind my home.
I am often visited by birds, deer, fox, and other wild creatures.
I have started photographing and creating small study-paintings of these animals
as well as other wildlife I encounter around the country.
The frame is custom-made from rough cedar and molding,
and sprayed with brown and black paint.
The frame is 12.5" x 10" x 2" and can be hung on the wall,
or stand upright on a table or shelf.
